butterflies
i'm getting more and more butterflies as the seconds go by.
the exam is nearing FAST... somehow i just want to get it over and done with but i also dont want to go in there... with the fear of facing the examiner and for some reason not being able to play or to sight read my music or clap the rhythm...it would not only be embarassing but a waste of everyone's time, effort, and my practice!
i hope i can hit the high 'A'. i hope i can memorise "londonderry air" perfectly.
i don't want to let mr. hill, valerie, or myself down....

amazing calculations some of u may already know ayumi and i are both in cabaret... and being as bored as we usually are during tutor group, we calculated how many hours we will see each other during the week... 20 mins a day, 5 days a week in tutor group = 1 hr
2.5 hours per rehearsal 3 times a week = 7.5 hrs
1.5 hours in symphonic band every friday = 1.5 hrs
+ random times in school... (10 mins every day during break) = 50 mins altogether thats 10 hours and 50 mins a week!!! wow... haha see our math is great! well ayumi, cabaret is going to be great! looking forward to seeing so much of you (and everyone else in the band for that matter)!! haha

dreading the looooong stretch of rehearsals
yes from my title you can tell whats coming my way... yeah so this is whats depressing me and many other people:
- Friday 3-4:30
- Saturday 1-2:15 AND 4-5:15
- Sunday 10-12 AND 1:15 to 4
- Monday 3-4:30 AND 6-8
- Tuesday 3-4:30
- Wednesday 3:30-9 at the Victoria Concert Hall
- Thursday 7:00 concert
if i dont pick up your calls during these times... u know why... but I do still reply smses... haha

good news!! today i saw miles (teacher in charge of the cabaret band) and i asked him if he was auditioning everyone... and his answer was "no" and then i asked him if i have to audition... and guess what... I DONT!!!! yay... i'm in... haha... sooo sooo sooo sooo glad!!!

brass christmas carol band?.... can i get action hours?... plz?..... just got roped in to do some christmas carols brass music playing thing... the way mrs. hill asked me if i can do it is just... well i couldnt say no... cause she came up to me and asked... and she said she and mr. hill are playing... and at least i know patrick and robert are doing it... (fellow brass ppl... heh) and yup that'll be sometime around christmas... sigh... i also signed up for cabaret... this i want to do... its a big production that will show from march 8-11... 4 nights!! of course i'll be playing the trombone if i get through the audition.... haha the audition is testing sight-reading... which is why i have major doubts on whether i'll get the part.... another thing is the commitment... but i am committed... there are lots of rehearsals starting soon up till the actual show... oh yah a good thing about this is that we get a weekend away to desaru... ok ok not quite a holiday but at least its away to rehearse!! yeah i hope its all good....

SATS OVER! finally the SATS are over... few things i have to say about the exam...
verbal was harder than math... hmm whats new... but my extra section was verbal... if it was math i would have a better chance of scoring higher... oh well... too bad... the acjc multi-purpose hall is freezing cold... me without jacket and socks... well guess what... i was freezing!! especially my toes... i think one more half and hour section in there... my toes would have fallen off!! lastly... there was a guy sitting diagonal to me... and he kept shaking his feet.... it made this irritating squeaking sound that was seriously getting on my nerves!!! i really felt like telling an invidulator to ask him to sit with his legs apart or something... but figured i shouldnt waste my time on such people... haha... rather just concentrate and try to read my comprehension...

2nd day today is the second day in a row that i missed school... why? just because i need to practice full length tests to prepare for an exam that the locals from the country it originated from flunk!!! its true!! they get lower average scores than everyone else who takes it!! shame on them!! can u guess what exam this is yet... haha... go figure if u havent!!...

uni applications are such a bother... i dont even know the month our IB results come out.... if anyone does... let me know PLEASE!!! thanks... haha so my first choice happens to be lovely SMU then its NTU and finally... NUS... see how the enthusiasm runs out as i progress through the diff unis... ok well its meant to anyway!! so yup... thats all about uni apps now... but yeah... thinking about it.... if everything goes well and i decide not to take a gap year.... i'll be in uni when i'm 17 along with a bunch of other ppl like nad, jo, reine, so on... cant complete the list... its pretty long!! yup.... so to all of u entering uni at 17... enjoy it!! haha...
