so I know its way past my birthday, but yesterday, my housemates and i spent the day in Cairns. After a day of shopping... ( i spent almost $200 on a new dress for course commencement... :S ) and watching a movie, we went for dinner at Cairns International to eat at one of the best Japanese restaurants in Cairns to celebrate my birthday. We had tepanyaki... and were way too full by the end... i couldnt even finish my food... i had to pack it, and i actually ate it before going to work today.
It was a really great day!! :D

cornelia has been here the past few days and we've all enjoyed her company in the house. today i managed to switch shifts with kim, which i'm really grateful for, to take the day to go up to cape tribulation and mossman gorge. we swam at mossman gorge which was agreed as our highlight for the day, and we also walked along 2 of the boardwalks, through the tropical rainforests here. she's leaving tomorrow morning though :(
Tomorrow i'm back to work, but the day after, i'll be going skydiving as mentioned in my previous post, and the day after that (thursday) i'll be going out to the great barrier reef again, but with kim this time. So this is my own little birthday celebration "weekend".
Did you know that the Great Barrier Reef and the Cape Tribulation are two world heritages that are right next to each other?? cool right?
Anyway, as for pictures, I'm putting them up on facebook, so keep a look out there for new albums (=

hi all! on the 7th of nov its not only my birthday if you dont already know, but on that day, i'll be going skydiving as well!!!!!!
i'm so excited!!!!! of course i'm scared too!! but i'll definitely write about it when its over :)
