BEAUTIFUL MISTAKE

today we got back our assessment grades...and i'm really really thankful and happy about one particular assessment grade....surprisingly, its chemistry... for those who dont know...7A is the best possible grade and 1D is the worst...number is attainment grade and letter is effort grade...so for the last assessments (very upset about this) i got 4C for chem...and its like...i really try hard at chemistry...but i still get a C...so then i try really hard this time....and i speak up a lot in class....despite my quiet nature...haha and this time...i got 6A!!! i didnt even expect this grade...i was expcting a 4....again...but no!! I GOT A 6!!! and finally he(mr gillies) realised i was trying hard at chem!!! yeah!!!

To even out my CAS hours...*ahem* (too many creative hours...), this year i'm doing stuff to get my hours up... and i am starting to feel the side effects of it...haha... first of all...kickboxing, well that is leaving my muscles slightly aching...and yup.. chinese dance... gunna claim 25 hours for that!! haha...we SOOO did more than 25 though!! the dance is now pretty much complete!! *clap clap* for tze shean for choreographing the whole thing!! too bad no solo though...

Yesterday angie and i were late for cell cause we were talking to daniel who is all the way in bristol...how? wif this thing called skype...pretty cool...u get to talk to people online for free!! and literally talk...not chat or anything...u also can use it to make calls to people who are not online...but of course its not free....anyway...i just downloaded it!! whoever wants to go download it too ok? let me know if u do...so i can add u!! um...here's the website if u want...http://www.skype.com

it was really great hearing dan's voice!! i know its only been 1 week...but missed him in cell already!! *sniff* well...he's coming back in 11 weeks...haha or was it 12?...

right now the police and the civil defense and a fire engine are outside my house...why? because a neighbour reported that gas can be smelt. so the police just rang our doorbell and spoke to my mum...haha and they're digging up some stuff to check where the gas is coming from... but yeah they said its not dangerous and no need for evacuation... haha! i really hope theres nothing wrong.... so crowded outside my house... but it'd be nice if theres a hot fireman or something coming to ring our doorbell!! :P haha

wow...today just had my first session of kick boxing slash taibo, and it was alot like aerobics... haha... but its really fun!! the jumping jacks kinda killed me... and the push-ups too... nadia was kinda surprised i could do some... *grin* anyway, if i keep up with this, i'll probably be able to actually kick and punch someone :P not that i wanna try cause i'm a sweet gentle girl!! haha...erm... anyhow, rehearsals for UN night are starting... too bad i couldnt get the sleeves dance... its ok... ribbons are cool too!! hee hee... well chinese dance, here i come!!

the other day i was trying to do my chinese hw which was a 400 character essay on "my family" (我的家)

i didnt know what to write...

was i supposed to have written how great my family is?

or about how hard it is?

or am i just expected to stupidly and brainlessly write about what my mum does at home or what my sis does at work...blah blah blah...

well i ended up not having to write it, my teacher understands...she set me another topic though...which is fair...

thankful for thoughtful teachers
