desperate situations -> desperate measures!!
I NEED SOMEONE TO ACCOMPANY ME FOR MY TROMBONE SOLO ON THE PIANO!! IF YOU ARE READING THIS AND CAN PLAY THE PIANO... AND OF COURSE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, LET ME KNOW OK!!! THE PERFORMANCE IS ON MARCH 16TH!!
ive already asked a couple of people, but i'm paranoid, and basically ive got to find someone who will and can do it by this coming friday or else i cant do the solo, so yes thats why im so desperate...

this week has been a week of my own muscial advancement. its cause firstly there are three new additions to the jazz band, and they're all trombones, which is why i get to move up from playing 3rd trombone to 2nd trombone :D next, is mr. hill giving me the sheet to fill in for whether i want to do a solo performance in march :D then is mr. hill again saying that i may get to play 1st trombone instead of 2nd in symphonic band. that is a maybe, but he did ask me to lead a trombone sectional tomorrow :D ok this is not about me anymore, but mark and brian played really well at their NUS gig!! good job Leeson!! and also Kai with your SMU extravaganza thingy... although i'd have to say the rest of it was... kinda... urm.... yeah... dont get me wrong... Kai was good... but his band... and singer... kinda questionable... hee... sorry... oh by the way... ive said this before but i'll say it again... kai has great dance moves!! :D anyhow, this week has been great... music wise!! not bad right? (of course not taking into consideration the long rehearsal hours for cabaret and the two hr rehearsal this sunday for symphonic band...) haha!!

i drew/wrote (its almost like drawing) this freehand!!! im so proud of myself =D haha!! actually i think it looks better with the whole piece of paper but now i cant be bothered to take another picture, haha, lazy me!

so much for a long weekend... i was in school yesterday and today... even though it was only three hours each day and not a full school day, but still i had to go back to school... just for cabaret rehearsals... sigh... its coming along... well i dunno cause yesterday miles recorded a song that we've never done before, and played it back to us today... and guess what... every part apart from the drums sounded bad... so yup... oh yeah i cut my hair!! you guys will see it when u do!! it was actually suggested by adrian... hmm i cant believe i actually listened... but yeah i did... so yup this is the result.. havent really showed anyone yet... only les, hj, yanin, reine and ayumi... =D see u all soon!!

YEAH!! finally finished exams!! by now everyone should have finished! YAY!!! well done everyone!! so yesterday after the english exam, my mum picked me up at 11-ish for lunch... and the place we had lunch had these stalls, and i saw a bag at this bag shop that i liked and still like very very much... and guess what!!! im rewarded myself for completing exams... so i bought myself that bag!! its nice and pink!!! :D HEE HEE

some of you might have already heard from me but i got my grade 5 trombone exam results from mr hill through email yesterday and guess what... i got 80%!!! cool huh... im happy about it!! although i missed distinction by 5% but apparently according to mr hill, it is really difficult to get distinction for grades 5-8... anyway i didnt do that much practice anyway... so i think what i got was really good!! haha!! good luck for the mocks everyone!!!

oh no!! school is starting tomorrow... i really wish and hope that this school week will last as long as it can... so that next week will not approach as fast as it really will. this is really horrible!! well how good can exams be in the first place even if you're 100% prepared for it... it really upsets me to say this. heard from rachel today that a 7th grader from uwc was in phuket and was there during the tsunamis... and... i think their whole family died because of it. *time to continue studying now*
