i havent blogged in what seems like ages... now a days (without school) i've just been losing track of time... everyday seems like the same day... as in it doesnt matter if its monday or thursday... know what i mean? heh... anyway my first shift for the temp job that i have was on the friday that just past. We walked around boat quay, clarke quay, riverside point, and circular road giving out tissue packets that support the quit smoking campaign that started about 2 or 3 weeks ago... (i think... i lost track of time remember?) The reactions of ppl were really different, some people didnt want to take the tissue from me, so i had to emphasize the fact that its FREE TISSUE!!!.. well then because my persuasive skills are so great, they took it.... haha and some people, wanted it so much that they asked me how much the packet of tissue was... hmm... and yes before i forget, we only handed these out to smokers... haha (hmm wonder why :P) theres one thing that i noticed... the only people who rejected my tissue packets were indian men... im serious!! i keep saying "its free tissue, u dont want?... you cant get free tissue anyway you know.... really dont want?" then they reply by saying "no its ok, you can give it to someone else, I dont need it"... whats surprising... is that thats what all the indian men said to me when i tried to give them the tissue... "I DONT NEED IT"... anyway, some people were just hanging out in the area and just wanted to talk i guess... one guy was trying to tell me how stressful his job is and thats why he smokes and stuff... then he began to ask me what i do and stuff... but i just said "right now i'm handing out tissues.... gotta go... CYA" haha so well he just wished me luck with giving out tissues... u never really wanna stay to chat with one person for too long right... yikes... anyway some ppl already know this, but i have to wear a shirt that has "nice lungs" printed on it while giving these out... um... yeah... so anyway i think im working again on wednesday but in the day this time... haha... i really dont wanna bump into anyone... hehe...*keeps fingers crossed* so anyway another thing thats new is that i got a new phone...!! yay... happy happy... finally changed from a black and white screen phone to colour... ok ok i know loads of ppl had colour phones AGES ago... but still... gotta feel my joy no? haha!!!
