i burnt myself during my last le cordon bleu class.... and so did a whole bunch of other ppl in my class... hehe

please keep the oven and whatever comes out from it away from us!!

see told u all i can make a bed!! hee.. this was me just practicing on my own bed. quite obviously with the school's bedsheets.. haha but yeah... nice right? :D im proud of myself whether you agree or not. :) anyway the water in adelaide (maybe australia) sux!!... it tastes horrible compared to singapore!! aww i really miss the water back home... yuk.. and i hate not having a stove in my unit... only a microwave.. so when amanda and i are grocery shopping... all the food we buy has to be cooked by mircrowave.... bleh....

on another note, the work load this week has not been that bad. very normal and i wish it'll stay this way.. but its pretty impossible... its me just asking for way too much... anyway today during rooms division class, my teacher showed us how to clean the rooms, kitchen, and toilet... and guess what... tomorrow.. is our PRACTICAL!! so that means we gotta get down on all fours, and up on stools to clean rooms... yay... how fun.... *sense my sarcasm??*

there's the commencement ceremony on tonight. its a semi formal event. so everyone will probably turn up looking really nice. i promise there'll be pics up of that.

on another note, im just waiting for my next class to start in about an hour, and i have just made my first hotel style bed! so proud of myself. i did it in normal time(for a first timer), and the teacher said it looked good except for a few little areas where she said she just likes being picky. so that means overall OK :D

yay i've finally managed to complete my first wine assignment... first assignment for that matter... all i've gotta do right now is just to hand it in. anyway we finally got our uniforms today. before we were just wearing our own white shirts/blouses with black pants or skirts, just as long as we were presentable it was alright. now we have the proper ichm uniform!! and i have a tie as well, and a nice jacket.. ok ok will take pictures when im all dressed up to give a better idea. for now, here's the little thingy that ive been researching for the past week. my little grape, petit verdot! red wine anyone? =)

classes have started already... we've already got assignments, which i spent a few hours in the library today trying to do... it looks like it'll get much busier, but its all good... haha. anyway today's wine tasting was great... we tasted 6. we were in a really nice room... great conditions to taste wine in... but some wines were just gross!! ew... being able to figure out what smells are in the wines is also quite challenging... sometimes u know that smell but it just doesnt click right... anyway. tomorrow's classes are tourism... and hospitality computing... great... ok well thats all for now...

finally got to adelaide.. and set my internet up... its great here... orientation week... full of parties and stuff! people here are quite friendly. i keep saying that pics will come up soon... and they will... but right now i have about half an hour before my next orientation talk is up... so not now... haha... probably next week... hehe cause the weekend is coming!! with an adventure day tomorrow and pub night as well... pub night is a tradition they have here at ICHM where students from first to fourth yr are invited to go and get to know everyone else. so yeah. fun fun!
