encounter bay was so fun!!!!
i tried body surfing for the first time, and although i swallowed my fair share of water, it was still really fun... i cant say i managed to get it though, cause i never flowed very far... but oh well... comes with more trys right!
here are a few pics. ended up taking around 100 pics, but of the scenery... very beautiful!!

this weekend i was supposed to go to barossa valley and encounter bay right. (it was about 35 degrees today by the way) well today is the day for barossa valley, but the people made a mistake and recorded us down for sunday. so we ended up going to glenelg (the beach) instead to eat oysters and of course walk around the beach for awhile. oysters were great btw!!!! but ill let the pictures do the talking. anyway, after some shopping, we took the tram back to the city, and then the bus back home.
not that disappointed.. still can go another time, and at least now i have more time for homework.

yay i passed rdo!!
ok to give you all a better idea of the grading system here, it goes by gpa which is a max of 6.00 pts. the points are classified, into groups. there are 5 i think... two of which are the fails. so i only hope to only see three kinds on my reports haha. so anyway, to pass its CA (competency achieved), next step up is CM (merit) and obviously next step up is CD (distinction).
I got CA for rdo... im satisfied... haha
another test that we've done so far is computing practical and assignemnt. we just had to pass the assignment.. as in its only pass or fail... so i passed that, and for the practical i got CD with 6.00 gpa :) *pat on the back*
other news, i'll be going on a barossa valley tour tomorrow where i get to go for 5 winery tastings and also a beers farm... cool right? well thats not all for this long "Adelaide Cup" weekend. on sunday at 2pm im leaving for this place called encounter bay... basically its a beach... and yeah i'll get back here on monday evening. and yes... marian will take pictures!! :D

I'm so nervous and worried for tomorrow's rdo test.... from my class, 1 group passed, and 1 group failed... so im in the last group... i really really hope i can get a pass.... not asking for merit or distinction.. pass will do.... eeks....
everyone who comes out from the test, is really really exhausted cause of the rush... only 2 practices before.... alright ill stop stressing and work on my biz comm report.
oh yeah, today we had lcb again, and focused on sauces... our assessment sauce today was mayonnaise... passed :) we also got to make other sauces and also eat up the food that was part of the demonstration... which includes "salad of fresh water crayfish and avocado with vinaigrette sauce", "poached supreme of salmon with hollandaise sauce" oh the sauce we made and got to take home is called sauce anglaise... which is pretty much an english custard sauce. salivating yet?? hehe... ill stop now.

i have stacks of work to get through, and yet i still find the time to blog. i guess this lets my head have a break from worrying about my housekeeping exam on thursday, or my tourism presentation on monday or the computing exam i have on monday as well and the biz comm report also due on thursday... i shall not continue with the list. its depressing... and yes there are more things to add to this already very long list.
oh well... this is the 24 hr industry.. i guess school for it has to be similar yah? haha.. if that even makes any sense.
