fell sick, so yesterday i took the day off work, and today i attempted to work... but after doing about two hours, i felt dizzy, so i got another MC and came back home.
will be OFF tomorrow... happy... another day to rest and relax =)

its July 24!!.... our results are out! and will be sent to us. so i predict that i will receive mine either tomorrow or the day after... either way... it'll come this week... and i'm nervous!... dunno why, i mean i know all my results, but i guess i forgot what they are exactly, and i'll find out my total average.... SCARY!!!
yes yes marian is a wimp... but who cares! everyone is nervous about results... at least at one point in their lives right?
i hate cleaning toilets by the way... i'm so scared to use the toilet brush... i mean afraid that the toilet water splashes out at me or something... i'm practially standing as far away from the toilet bowl as my arm allows.... =)
watched cabaret last night. starring fei xiang as the emcee and emma yong as sally bowles. brings back lots of fun memories! but in order to cut the musical short, they left out "mein herr" and "maybe this time".... =(

i've worked at four seasons in the housekeeping department for 5 whole days already... =P its tiring and interesting. i learn something new everyday and also if i'm lucky i get some tips :D
good things about this dept, is that my shifts are only 8 hrs long and you dont really get OT unless you cant finish cleaning your assigned rooms.
bad things, it involves alot of bending so my back hurts and stuff... and also we have to move quite quickly to get the rooms done as soon as possible.... really rushed but we also have to make sure we do the room up to the four seasons standard.... well i'm not complaining... cause every job has its own stressful points right =)
dont worry, cause i'm still happy cleaning rooms despite tiredness and low pay =)

Day 1 of work at Four Seasons.
not that tiring actually. i started off just watching the person i was buddied with. her name is yati and she's worked there for 5 years now. as the minutes passed, i was assigned more and more tasks. this was good cause i felt more useful, and it also made time pass faster. things i did today: vacuum the rooms, stripped beds, changed pillow cases, and walked alot!! and i mean it when i say alot... cause its like from the room to the pantry area to get linen/towels/amenities etc. and i made about 4 trips + - for each room.. pretty much...
the rooms are nice btw! =)

finally back in singapore. so far ive met up with reine, les, and the guys from cell. going out later to meet with my ex tutor in uwc with reine at holland v for coffee. probably eating dinner at home but i dont know what will be happening for supper. HAHA (putting on pounds as i speak)
i'll be going in to work tomorrow to settle admin stuff, then i'll be starting actual operations on monday.
looking forward to starting!

This morning I woke up at 5:30am to send my friends off. Yup, Amanda, Edwin and Edmund have left, and ditched me here in Adelaide. They'll probably arrive in Melbourne in 1-2 hours time.
I've never been so sad to say goodbye to friends, even though i should be used to it by now. Perhaps it is because I see these stupid people everyday without fail, we go everywhere together, explored Adelaide together, played monopoly till there were noise complaints, bully and make fun of each other with stupid millipede stories and ingredients in some LCB recipe..... and of course the list goes on.
I think I'll miss you guys too much!!! Go show RACV what Singaporeans are made of, and come back quick!
