LAAAAAAMMBBB!!!! Dinner at mark's last night was really GREAT!!! and that is no where near an understatement!!! there was just an unlimited flow of GOOD food!!!!!!! ok ok ... enuf about food, otherwise those who MISSED OUT will just be too jealous!! haha... anyway lydia and i were supposed to play badminton with dan and mark today... but due to last minute changes... we went SHOPPING instead... we went to three of the zara branches in singapore!! haha... what a substitute huh... dont ask... HAHA

today work was really tiring... cutting a kinda long story short, i walked from orchard mrt, to plaza singapura, then back to orchard towers... thats almost like chingay parade (x2) no? haha... oh well... tired tired.... sigh

i havent blogged in what seems like ages... now a days (without school) i've just been losing track of time... everyday seems like the same day... as in it doesnt matter if its monday or thursday... know what i mean? heh... anyway my first shift for the temp job that i have was on the friday that just past. We walked around boat quay, clarke quay, riverside point, and circular road giving out tissue packets that support the quit smoking campaign that started about 2 or 3 weeks ago... (i think... i lost track of time remember?) The reactions of ppl were really different, some people didnt want to take the tissue from me, so i had to emphasize the fact that its FREE TISSUE!!!.. well then because my persuasive skills are so great, they took it.... haha and some people, wanted it so much that they asked me how much the packet of tissue was... hmm... and yes before i forget, we only handed these out to smokers... haha (hmm wonder why :P) theres one thing that i noticed... the only people who rejected my tissue packets were indian men... im serious!! i keep saying "its free tissue, u dont want?... you cant get free tissue anyway you know.... really dont want?" then they reply by saying "no its ok, you can give it to someone else, I dont need it"... whats surprising... is that thats what all the indian men said to me when i tried to give them the tissue... "I DONT NEED IT"... anyway, some people were just hanging out in the area and just wanted to talk i guess... one guy was trying to tell me how stressful his job is and thats why he smokes and stuff... then he began to ask me what i do and stuff... but i just said "right now i'm handing out tissues.... gotta go... CYA" haha so well he just wished me luck with giving out tissues... u never really wanna stay to chat with one person for too long right... yikes... anyway some ppl already know this, but i have to wear a shirt that has "nice lungs" printed on it while giving these out... um... yeah... so anyway i think im working again on wednesday but in the day this time... haha... i really dont wanna bump into anyone... hehe...*keeps fingers crossed* so anyway another thing thats new is that i got a new phone...!! yay... happy happy... finally changed from a black and white screen phone to colour... ok ok i know loads of ppl had colour phones AGES ago... but still... gotta feel my joy no? haha!!!

yesterday i went to grab a coffee with louis... caught up for a bit... then he had to go to orchard to meet his friend for a movie, so i just went back home... yup quite boring... but yeah... so today i went to singapore's wonderful TINY little theme park with steph and yuri... no matter how boring or 'exciting' the rides were, we still had a lot of fun... i guess it doesnt matter what you do, you will always have fun, as long as you're with your friends! agreed? today is probably the last time i see yuri in long long long long long long time... she'll be leaving to japan at the end of this week... and ITS REALLY SAD!!!!! no more 'sotongs' left in singapore!! haha...

yay!! im so happy!! this morning i received a call from nadia who's in indonesia now... she said she's coming to singaopre this thursday!!! YAY!!! and whats better, she'll be staying the night at my place!!! YAY!!! :D so so so happy

today i watched mr. and mrs. smith with rach and huahui... the movie wasnt bad... and brad pitt was hot :) haha... and the story line is not as simple as it seems in the trailers, but not as complicated as it can be... i dunno... haha but anyway a lot of the intimate scenes were removed so that mda actually rated this movie pg... yup thats right PG!! anyway i guess they HAVE to do these kinda cuts to get the max number of ticket sales possible right? but those scenes dont even affect the story line of the movie... so its all good :) oh yeah another thing i did today was IN THE MORNING!!! haha i went back to school at 10:15 (SO EARLY!!!) and helped out two 9th grade (sec 3) kids with their coursework... some trombone quartet recording thing... haha that wasnt that satisfying for me... as in if it was my own coursework i would have re-recorded it, but i guess they dont really mind and can settle for what was recorded today... sigh... oh anyway, ian's plea for people to pick the yacht option for the mini poll seems to be working... haha the number is slowly creeping up :)

ive not been blogging much recently... just dont feel like it... i dunno, anyway the great singapore sale is here and ive a few things already... quite happy... about a month till i will find out my IB results... *gasp* not really looking forward to that... but its something everyone must face right... yikes... anyway, tomorrow is the trombone recording that i promised to help out with... i'll get to practicing right after this... oh yeah, my mum and i have started on this oil painting, and we're working on it together... its a nice mother daughter project thingy... haha oh yeah im really proud of myself, last week i swam 10 laps... and i didnt ache from it on the next day... so thats kinda good news... haha... and about the mini poll over there <------ it looks like the outdoor option is winning by a mile... maybe i should say for now yeah? see if ian can get enough people to vote for the yacht.. haha and um... i kinda missed blogging it on the exact date... but the 5th of june was my dad's first anniversary.... SIIGGGHH
