today my mum, ryan, and i went shopping... well we kinda knew what we wanted to get already, its actually a present for a friend in shanghai... we ended up getting her a bracelet! so since steph and ryan are going to shanghai, they'll be passing the present to her, as well as come back with NICE THINGS FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!! haha!!! and of course for the rest of my family heeheehee!! so yup, thats pretty much what we did today... oh yeah my sis didnt come along cause she's not on leave yet...

so yah on wednesday we had cell as usual, and daryl only got to meet the same group of ppl he met last time... so anyway we all went to holland v for supper after... well all except adrian, vince, and lydia... so then having hua hui and daryl around at the same time... well anyone would know that it'll be full of tricks and laughs!! some stuff that daryl did were kinda scary... in a sense that it simply was amazing! and hua hui had his own share of tricks to show :) also good i must add. oh yeah, and angie was also quite tired... therefore making her not as alert as she should have been.... hehe!! funny... well that was that... tomorrow, badminton at a crazy crazy time... (very VERY early.... compared to the usual time anyway) it'll be interesting... hehe

ryan arrived last night... i think the landing time was 11:14 p.m. So as everyone can guess, my sis was really excited... and so was hong an... but hong an was a tad bit tired at the airport last night... so anyway, ryan brought a whole suitcase full of presents for everyone!!!! i got three shirts, and some new nail polish and lip stuff!!!

anyway yesterday before ryan arrived, my sis and i both agreed that we should do something to her hair to surprise him... so guess what... we went to holland v to buy some hair dye.... and i dyed her hair for her! then at the airport ryan said "your hair's not black anymore..." HAHA yay! mission accomplished!!!

well anyway i'm meeting debra again today... she's leaving in like.... 4 days.... back to shanghai.... but yuan is coming from shanghai!!!! we have sooooo much catching up to do!!!! she's a BRILLIANT trombone player!! haha she taught me lots of stuff when i just picked it up!! well yeah!!! the trombone rocks!! haha *random*

yes i'm up at a crazy hour... why? well i think its because of my flu.... breathing just started to get uncomfortable and i also started coughing... so that probably why... (actually i woke up at 4:30) the thing is that now im so awake that i cant go back to sleep.... this then just made me realise that I used to get up at crazy hours like this... well almost... doesnt everyone remember primary school? oh my... i bet if i looked out my window not too long later... my neighbours would actually be leaving their houses.... but perhaps by that time i'd be sleepy enough to get back to sleep....

oh yes might as well blog about yesterday... well nadia decided to call me from indo... haha i was very surprised!! and even better... hye jin was with her... she's back from aceh! i'm so glad she's safe! and well of course i got to talk to both of them... i was put on speaker... and yeah! they're so sweet! btw... les if you read this... we talked about YOU!!!! haha... :P i'm serious! so anyway... i feel like posting a pic... so yeah... as random as it may be! (guess who decided to sleep in my room when i still had millions of boxes, and no space to walk.... haha!!)

on friday, badminton was really fun! angie came this time! and yes once again thanks to mark and daniel, my legs were aching... hmm... anyway that same day i had to work, so imagine how tired i was haha... because it was at mohammad sultan, we worked till almost 2 am... yup i was REALLY tired by the end of the day... or night... whichever

anyway, i watched fantastic 4 with debra yesterday... oh yeah thats right, i met up with debra at cine! havent seen her since like... um.... late april? cant really remember exactly when... but anyway she'll be here for awhile so i'll be meeting up with her again soon. hehe

now whats happening with work is that the leadership has changed slightly thats why there are going to be some changes in the way we work. later on i have to attend a meeting to discuss these changes, which will involve splitting up the current team into 4 divisions. and i think i'm attending this meeting because i'm going to be put in charge of one of the divisions. haha yay! i'll be known as divisional leader!!! anyway i hope i get a good one!! haha... something more interesting than the office crowd... bleh!! i think i may have to do my own recruitment... so those of you out there... yes im doing the advertising again... please do let me know!!!!!

today i went for ray's 17th birthday party along with jun, jasmine, jess, armaan, michelle, yee ling, yvonne, and li zhen. so including ray, there were 10 of us. first we had lunch, then we went bowling... quite fun i must say, and then played pool and table tennis. (terribly action packed!)

anyhow, i saw many familiar faces there today which reminded me that i really miss going to school... okay maybe without the intensive learning part, but generally, the people! everyday we are used to seeing the same faces, and talking to the same people, but its only when you actually leave school and spend most of your day sleeping, staring at the tv or computer screen, or whether its giving out tissue packets at suntec or clarke quay, then you realise that you might have taken those familiar faces for granted. Perhaps you could have spent more time talking to the person and trying to make the best of the little time that we had. But i guess now its too late for regrets. Everyone has either already flown overseas for uni or just to go back home, or will do so in a matter of months. It is very likely that i wont be seeing many people that i knew from school ever again, but i guess the silver lining around this dark cloud is that life goes on, and new friends will come, and hopefully not go.

Which is why i'm so thankful and glad that i have my cell! They are so much fun to be around, and well putting things bluntly, they almost make me forget that i actually feel so sad that my friends from school left or are leaving. (But dont worry, i havent forgot!) So I guess the best anyone could do now is just not to lose touch and hopefully one day, we will all meet again.
