on sunday i met up with yuan and some other guys... terence, julian, and royce. the 5 of us are like.. um lets say... we're all singaporeans... but we've all lived and studied overseas... and we all also did the IB! also, 4 of us, me, yuan, terence and julian have studied at SAS (shanghai) at a certain point of time! :) so anyway it was really fun hanging out with them... after a short while, it just seemed that we clicked really well.... and it also seemed as if we knew each other for a long time or something... hmm anyway i met up with yuan at bugis mrt slightly before 1... well then the three guys were late... oh well... so then yuan and i ate first... then.. um.. what else... we basically just chilled!!

julian should work for the paparazzi cause he kept taking pics of me and yuan without us knowing... so since all the pics he took of us turned out bad... we decided to compromise and let him take a pic WITH us... haha... here is the pic (obviously i wont show the paparazzi pics cause they're horrible!! HAHA)
yeah so then after sitting around at this little cafe with many many antique sofas, we took the mrt to orchard to see if we could go watch a movie or something... but the times were kinda bad... so we just went to play pool.... the place was really freezing cold!!! VERY VERY cold!!! anyway... yuan and i were like just following instructions... the guys would say... "hit it here (pointing)" then we would just try our best to hit it exactly at the spot they were pointing at... hehe after that... it was a simple dinner... then we all went home... yup... that was it

these past three days have been really interesting!!! work has just been a real eye opener!! i've met new people, nice people in fact! and getting used to this job won't be tough. today(wednesday) was only training... just absorbing info... its like being in school again!! haha... anyway tomorrow is training again!! but it'll be more fun! we get to look around the place! so anyway... um next week theres team building for the department!! yay!! GAMES!! haha...

oh yeah!! yesterday... um tuesday... i talked to yuan on the phone!! its great to hear from her again!! YAY and i'll be meeting her on sunday!! oooh cant wait!!! to all those who dont know, I met her in shanghai, in SAS!! when i first went there... i met her... and found out that she's singaporean!! then thats a great way to get to know her more.... but what was EVEN BETTER was that she plays the trombone!! and like... oooooh another girl trombone player!!! ok ok but at that time she was really really good at the trombone... but of course she still is... but what i mean to say is that I had just picked up the trombone and could hardly play ANYTHING!!! well anyway she helped me A LOT!! and yeah... really love her for that!! so yeah... that's the intro on yuan!! i dont think i have a pic of me and her.... hmm.. oh well :)

yesterday was tiring... i stood at far east plaza for almost 11 hours... yes... its my part time job.. but don't worry its not like this usually... its only cause there was a miscommunication because my boss assumed they could provide me with a table and CHAIR... but well... they couldn't... so anyway... before lunch time, julian popped by to say hi, and he left me a "New Paper" so i was discretely reading that when i could... hehe it was quite boring standing there making sure no one destroyed the punching bag that was wrapped up like a cigarette so.... well i exchanged smiles with the staff of the neighbouring shops... that was just about as much socialising i did haha... excluding julian, vince and yi fang kindly dropping by!! THANKS!!! so anyway this is what i guarded....
Anyway after that i quickly went to meet my cell guys... and angie and debs where i got to find out that hh wasnt going to let anyone send him off at the airport.... which meant that yesterday would be the last time im seeing him in a long time!! so when i left i gave him three BIG hugs!! :(

heres a blog entry especially for my aunt june :)

well the thing is that i was talking to her on the phone one day... and i was telling her how i trained my cats how to reach up to the door knob to ask for the door to be opened for them... and well... heres a pic of my already trained cat!! good boy xiao bai!!! i'm so proud of him!! haha see him looking at me? to check if i'm looking at him asking...

as some of you already know, reine and i attempted to bake... and well it came out 2/3 successful, well... as for the remaining 1/3... all i have to say about it is, dont ever use salted pretzels as a base!!!! with that said... i'll just let my pics do my talking!!!

so here we've layed out the ingredients

and here is our recipe that hopefully as we follow, nothing will go wrong.

step 1: crush pretzels

then we realised we cant just do it in a bowl...

so here i come with the BLENDER!!!!

and there reine stands with the finely blended SALTED pretzels...

then to make the base sticky, we have to add THIS much butter... yep yep

mix it in....

and TA-DA!! this is what you get!!

now for the second layer... you need THIS much of whipped cream... *yikes*

AND!!!! a whole tub of cream cheese..... *double yikes*

and while waiting... or choosing to be idle to be more precise... reine and i just cant resist swallowing some FAT... eugh

after some fooling around.... we made the jello.... ooh pretty!

and theres me trying to multi task... dont ask...

finally, the top layer needs... strawberries!!

if u look carefully.. two layers are done

yes yes... washing up IS a part of baking too.. sigh... i hate to admit it

and there u can see my kitchen is still not on fire... and the jello and bases are peacefully in the fridge!

so then we let everything set... reine played with my cat...

then... WA-LA!!! there u have it... our strawberry delight!! and this concludes our 1st baking experience!! :D

Mood: Happy
Last weekend, Les and Nad came for a really short period of time... les stayed over one night at my house, but nad only came to singapore for a few hours... but anyhow, i was really really happy that my best friends could come and visit!!!

then the girls in my cell decided to cook a mexican meal for the guys, for hh's and vince's farewell... luckily no one got sick after... hehe anyway, because of that busy day of preparing and cooking, and blending of the avacado shake (mwahaha) i was still really happy, although i was still sad that nad and les left... (oh yah... bad pic of all three of us there... but oh well.. i'll put a better one up when i GET IT FROM LE SUEN!!!!!!)

Mood: Bored
but now... i'm like this... bored... cause nad and les arent here.. reine... well she's busy with her OTHER friend(s)... haha... Mr.D..... and um... yeah i have a feeling someone is getting irritated cause of me bugging him too much... hee hee... if u read this... im sorry :) u know who you are... i hope...

Ok this is a really really really extremely bad picture of the actual watch... but i guess since it's only a blog entry... it'll do... today at scotts, i went into one of those swiss watch shops... with the branded watches... yah anyway, i was in one of the franchise shops a few days back, and there was this Dior watch that caught my eye... seriously... i wasnt even looking in that direction, and there it was... it's not exactly like this, but its similar

The one I saw is really pretty!! it has a face like this, but the hands, instead of being silver, are white, and the strap instead of being a chain is a black strap... thats not shiny... although i wouldn't mind if it was a chain... or if the face wasnt black but a reflective mirror face instead... heh... its S$850 for the type i like, but theres a one with a leather strap... its S$1070.... so.... yah i know what you're thinking... I can DREAM ON!.... sigh
